JM South Gate Plant Wins Their 2nd ARMA Award

The JM South Gate plant has 30 JM employees and is located seven miles south of downtown Los Angles and produces APP, SBS, BUR and Self Adhered modified roofing membranes. They also stock Fesco, ISO Insulation Board, Adhesives & Coatings and BUR/APP/SBS membranes from other Johns Manville production facilities.

Each year the Asphalt Roofing Manufacturers Association (ARMA) recognizes asphalt roofing manufacturers that are leading the industry in workplace safety. JM South Gate plant was presented with the Presidents Award for their Superior Employee Safety Record. This is the second year in a row the JM South Gate plant has received this distinguished award.

Plant Manager David Gilmartin attributes the plants safety record to “The employees, hands down! And it is the Roofing Systems Leadership!” He continues to state, “Our top priority is keeping everyone safe while manufacturing top quality products.”
