Designing and specifying a mechanical system requires consideration of many variables. Identifying the objective of the mechanical system in the begining of your design phase will help to direct the project as it continues. Condensation control, energy conservation, fire safety, and noise control are just a few objectives that can help you determine when and what to insulate.
