Waste Heat Should Not Be Waste! Waste heat is a problem that engineers will face as they design efficient industrial systems. The basic understanding of creating an efficient system is to insulate appropriately to reduce heat loss and keep the system from wasting energy. Now there are companies that are taking this a step further. What if we can convert that lost heat into energy? What if we can capture it and utilize it? This future is not that far off. This article reports on the national status of heat loss and begins to discuss potential solutions.
