Exploring the Mechanism and Longevity of the XOX Corrosion Inhibitor®

The XOX Corrosion Inhibitor® is an integral component of JM’s Thermo-1200® calcium silicate and Sproule WR-1200® expanded perlite. There have been numerous studies exploring how well the XOX Corrosion Inhibitor works when it comes to slowing and inhibiting corrosion under insulation; however, one topic that has not been a significant point of study is how the XOX Corrosion Inhibitor works.

We recently completed research to answer this very question, and we have outlined the results in this helpful infographic.
