Johns Manville Rocks the Trade Show Scene

There’s nothing like a crowded show floor to ramp up excitement about the roofing industry. At least that’s how we see it at Johns Manville.

Attending educational events and mingling among old friends and new, Johns Manville has attended the following tradeshows over the last month.

Texas Roofing Conference – September 11 - 13

There were numerous highlights during the three days of fun, including RCAT awarding $51,750 in scholarships to 27 students. Because of members’ generosity, RCAT said it was able to “provide an award to every applicant and set a new record.” RCAT also gave out its first Future Leader in the Construction Industry Award of $5,000 to a student majoring in construction. IIBEC Building Enclosure Symposium (BES) – September 29 – October 1

JM Roofing Systems and our Canadian Sales team, North 49 had the opportunity to not only attend, but sponsor this event in Toronto, Canada. Accredited presentation ranged from decarbonization to low slope assemblies adaptation to projected climate change, to thinking ahead with solar/PV ready design considerations on commercial roofing systems.

Western Roofing Expo – September 29 – October 1, 2024

The show was heavily attended and featured a memorable keynote speaker, Anthony Robles. Robles spoke about overcoming adversity to eventually win the 2011 NCAA National Championship, all without his right leg. The message of becoming “Unstoppable” was carried throughout the meeting.

It has been a busy tradeshow season and we look forward to seeing everyone next year!
