Low Slope Roofing for Automotive and EV Battery Plants
Having covered millions of square feet of roofing for all the major manufacturers, JM understands the complexities of automotive and EV battery manufacturing facilities. Plants requiring a more robust roofing assembly that protects from production chemicals tend to seek a PVC membrane solution, while others lean towards TPO.
Roofing Membrane Options
JM TPO as a roofing membrane for automotive facilities, our TPO systems provide a cost-effective yet highly reliable solution. Offered in white, tan, and grey, JM offers TPO system guarantees ranging from 10-30 years.
JM PVC offers higher chemical resistance properties for automotive and EV production facilities, where rooftop exhaust or adjacent structures may expose a roof membrane to VOC’s and other harsh environmental factors that might otherwise damage other systems. PVC membranes have the steepest slope approvals for fire-rated single-ply roof systems through UL, including an Unlimited Class A approval.
