Johns Manville President and CEO Bob Wamboldt joins other Denver-area CEOs to build a Habitat for Humanity home

Johns Manville President and CEO Bob Wamboldt in October joined with nearly 60 other metro area CEOs to help construct a Habitat for Humanity home in Denver.

Co-hosted by the Denver Broncos and former Broncos CEO Joe Ellis, the annual CEO build event was at Aria Homes near I-70 and Federal Boulevard where Johns Manville employees helped to construct another home for Johns Manville’s Global Community Day in September. Aria will soon comprise 28 two-, three- and four-bedroom homes.

“Participating in the Habitat build day was a wonderful opportunity to give back in our community while networking with other Denver-area business leaders and sharing about the great work happening at JM,” Wamboldt said.

Heather Lafferty, Habitat for Humanity’s CEO in Denver told CBS 4, “The need for affordable housing in metro Denver has never been greater. Business leaders such as yourselves play an important role in supporting affordable homeownership.”
